| Landforms started as a landscape construction firm founded in 1997 by Brian Kazak while attending Michigan State University in pursuit of a landscape horticulture degree. During his time at Michigan State, Brian constructed various landscape projects in East Lansing and Okemos during the school year. In the summers, the scope of his work would move to the metro Detroit Area. After obtaining a landscape horticulture degree and becoming a Michigan Certified Nurseryman, Brian located Landforms in Farmington Michigan. After outgrowing that location, Landforms relocated to Green Oak, Michigan where they still reside to this day. In 2004, due to overwhelming demand, Landforms incorporated turf maintenance to their catalog of services. Landforms maintenance handles all aspects of turf management from fertilization and irrigation to weekly cutting and aeration. Today, Landforms is a full service landscape company, offering an unlimited variety of landscape services. Our construction division specializes in water features,creative landscape designs, wetland reclamation, boulder walls, all aspects of hardscape instillation, green roof, environmental friendly landscapes and site development. On the other hand, our maintenance division covers the upkeep of existing landscapes, including but not limited to, turf maintenance, seasonal color(annuals),horticultural pruning, bed maintenance, plant winterization and weed and pest management. |
